Introduction

Thanks for playing Sudunnit. These terms help define the relationship between you and Sudunnit. Broadly speaking, we give you permission to access and use our services if you agree to follow these terms, which reflect how our business works and how we earn money.

When we speak of "Sudunnit", "we" and "us", we mean Mitrox Oy, business ID 3562179-8, Drusibackankuja 25, 02480 Kirkkonummi, Finland. Our "services" means the Sudunnit app, sudunnit.com and anything else we offer that links to these terms. By downloading, installing or using our services, you agree to these terms. Although it's not part of these terms, we encourage you to read our privacy policy to better understand how you can update, manage, export and delete your information.

You must be at least 13 years old to use our services, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

What you can expect from us

Permission to use our services

We give you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable and non-exclusive licence to use our services for your own entertainment. This licence is for the sole purpose of enabling you to enjoy our services as provided by Sudunnit, in the ways permitted by these terms. Everything in our services, including the cases, characters, artwork, music and software, belongs to Sudunnit or our licensors, and we keep all rights not expressly given to you.

Develop, improve and update our services

We're constantly developing new technologies and features to improve our services. As part of this continual improvement, we sometimes add or remove features and content, change how things work, adjust the game's balance, prices and rewards, increase or decrease limits, or start offering new services or stop offering old ones. When a change requires it, an internet connection or an app update may be needed to keep playing.

If we make material changes that negatively impact your use of our services, or if we stop offering a service altogether, we'll provide you with reasonable advance notice, except in urgent situations such as preventing abuse, responding to legal requirements or addressing security and operability issues.

What we expect from you

Follow these terms

The permission we give you to use our services continues as long as you meet your responsibilities in these terms. We want to keep Sudunnit fair and fun for everyone, so we expect you to play by the rules. For example, you must not:

• use cheats, bots, scripts, modified versions of the app or any other unauthorised software, or take advantage of bugs
• create multiple or fake accounts, or misuse the invitation rewards or the in-game economy
• access, or try to access, our systems or other players' accounts without permission, or disrupt or overload our services
• copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse engineer any part of our services, except where the law allows it
• use our services for commercial purposes or in a way that breaks the law

Your account

You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Your account is personal to you and can't be sold, shared or transferred.

Coins, items and purchases

Virtual items

Our services include virtual items such as coins, hearts, stars and the benefits of the Detective Pass. When you earn or buy them, you get a limited licence to use them in our services. Virtual items aren't money or property: they have no cash value, can't be exchanged for real money or anything else outside our services, and can't be transferred to other people or accounts. We can manage, change, rebalance or remove virtual items and their prices and rules at any time. We may correct your balance if something went wrong, for example because of a technical error, a refunded purchase or a breach of these terms. Virtual items are lost if your account is deleted or closed.

Purchases

Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play, and the store's own terms apply to payments and refunds. Because virtual items are delivered to you straight away, you agree that we start delivering them immediately and you acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel the purchase once delivery has started, to the extent permitted by law. If a purchase is refunded, we may remove what was bought.

Subscriptions

The Detective Pass renews automatically at the current price until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel your subscription.

Invitation rewards

We decide who qualifies for invitation rewards and how much they are. We may hold back or take back rewards if we suspect misuse, and we may change or end the programme at any time.

In case of problems or disagreements

Warranty disclaimer

We provide our services using reasonable skill and care, but they are provided "as is". Other than the warranties and rights that the law gives you and that can't be limited, we don't make any commitments about the content or features of our services, including their availability, reliability or suitability for your needs.

Liabilities

Other than the liabilities that can't be limited by law, Sudunnit is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for the loss of data, progress or virtual items. Sudunnit's total liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the greater of (1) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability, or (2) €50. Nothing in these terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Taking action in case of problems

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the services, or delete your account, if you materially or repeatedly breach these terms, if we're required to do so to comply with a legal requirement, or if your conduct causes harm or liability to a player, a third party or Sudunnit, for example cheating, fraud or abuse. We'll usually tell you the reason in advance where we reasonably can. You can stop using our services and delete your account at any time.

Settling disputes, governing law and courts

Finnish law will govern all disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the services, and these disputes will be resolved in the Western Uusimaa District Court (Länsi-Uudenmaan käräjäoikeus), Finland. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and can also take legal action in your local courts. If you live in Finland, you can also bring a dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta) after contacting the consumer advisory services.

About these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or how we do business, for legal, regulatory or security reasons, or to prevent abuse or harm. If we materially change these terms, we'll give you reasonable advance notice. If you keep using our services after the changes take effect, you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree to the new terms, you should stop using our services and delete your account.

If it turns out that a particular term is not valid or enforceable, this will not affect any other terms. If you don't comply with these terms and we don't take action right away, this doesn't mean we're giving up any rights we may have. We may transfer these terms to another company, for example as part of a merger or sale of our business. These terms are available in Finnish and English; if they differ, the Finnish version applies.

If you got the app from the App Store

These terms are between you and Sudunnit, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"), and Sudunnit, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app to the extent permitted by law. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims or claims that it infringes someone else's intellectual property. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
